The purpose of the Parish Council is to ensure that the local environment is maintained and developed to satisfy as far as possible, the wishes of the electorate and that community facilities meet the needs of the parish.

The Parish Council consists of a Chairman, Vice Chairman and nine members together with the Parish Clerk. The Full Council meets twelve times a year at the Progressive Hall, North Bradley on the first Monday of each month at 19:30. (Unless it's a Bank Holiday, in which case it's the second Monday.)

Parishioners pay Council Tax set by Wiltshire Council. In addition parishes raise a ‘precept’ to cover local costs such as maintenance of sports fields, play areas and the creation of this community web portal.

In our Parsh Council section you will be able to view the Agenda for our next meeting as well as the minutes for the previous one. We'll make sure you are kept up to date with Parish Council News as well as having a dedicated section for all planning applications. We've also started a blog to give you an insight into one of our Parish Councillors tasks. All this can be accessed through the menus to the left.
